No change, Steve. I untick, highlight all the unticked entries, click ok, and P3D jumps right to the default flight.

After unticking the scenery items and clicking OK the default flight loads back in, that's normal. However, if you go back to the add-ons menu the items are all enabled back as they were?

Yes, all ticked again. For no logical reason I just restarted P3D, and it did its scenery thing. Ideal flight did not re-index though.

It seems you have an add-on that recreates its setup automatically and so the items revert to ticked.

That may be OK but also may be a cause for concern in that the scenery order is incorrect and you get the missing ILS.

Check the addons configuration apps to see if the behaviour can be stopped so you can temporarily have an add-on scenery-free P3D up and running so that you can start Ideal Flight and let it carry out an index on the stock product.

Some scenery add-ons come with a configuration app, like ORBX Central for example, where you can uninstall or disable features.

Once you have a stock P3D we can verify with Ideal Flight. Then if that's OK you can install add-on scenery one at a time checking things are OK.

Just to be clear. After looking at those apps, do I uninstall each airport and Orbx entries to reach that clean scenery.cfg There seems no way within P3D to remove the addons.
I do have a clean cfg which Orbx made as a backup long ago. That might provide a temporary clean one for Ideal Flight to index?

My scenery library is a mixture of entries available for editing etc. and entries dimmed, and so untouchable.
As you can tell now, I'm out of my depth here and struggling.

I apologise deeply for being such a nuisance. When I was much younger I was a lot more intelligent!!!

After submitting the above post I had a look at P3D Addons. If I untick one, highlight it and press ok, p3d indexes. A visit to that airfield confirms it to be default. A restart shows item still unticked.

I'm going to try this one by one method to follow your original instructions, and report back.
