I checked both the log and the folder just to make sure everything was in the right place. documents\FSAerodata Files\navigation data\navaids looks okay.

But I go to the index log and everything but the addin navdata is there.

When the fuel manual entry is set to Automatic, that is not working right since if you alter the value it should go to Once but stays on auto. In the next build, when you manually enter a value it goes to Auto to Once if you are not set to Fixed. Basically if you are manually entering fuel move it from Auto to Fixed or Once since Auto won't do what you want.

With the current build, set manual entry to Fixed and enter your manual amount. Let me know if that works. Remember to tell me if you are entering pounds gallons or kg.

The fsAeroidata is a set of scenery files. Do the entries appear in the scenery.cfg?

The scenery.cfg is in the foider:

C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

You should have something like this:

[Area.4]
Title=FSAD_Navaids
Local=C:\Users\you\Documents\fsAerodata Files\Navigation Data\Navaids
Layer=4
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE

Fuel Remaining is showing incorrectly in the briefing, when you manually enter less fuel than calculated from the Range.

Along with checking your scenery.cfg as I mentioned in the earlier post, I wondered if you can also check for the presence of a file. Check if you have this file:

C:\Users\you\Documents\fsAerodata Files\Navigation Data\cycle_info.xml

Also look for another file in the folder below that one:

C:\Users\you\Documents\fsAerodata Files\settings.xml

In that file it shows which folders are pointed to from the scenery.cfg

I'm finishing up for the weekend so have up[loaded P29. Hopefully P29 will get the manual fuel going. Recommencing continued development next week.

Hi Steve,

Regarding FSAerodata, I removed the scenery entries from scenery.cfg because I was advised to by FSAerodata admin.

In the most recent update to the configuration tool, FSAerodata is created as an addon and I guess, no longer uses scenery and/or is used in a different way.

However, I also removed the entries from the scenery on the other computer and Ideal Flight detects it just fine, but maybe I missed a few entries such as navaids.

So, no matter if I enter above the calculation for the range, or below it, for that matter, I get the same fuel remaining.

Fuel Remaining: 2158 Gal, Weight: 14459 Lb, 6558 kg
Fuel Requested: 2388 Gal, Weight: 16000 Lb, 7257 kg
Fuel Required: 3001 Gal, Weight: 20107 Lb, 9120 kg
Maximum Fuel Load: 6804 Gal, Weight: 45587 Lb, 20678 kg
Weight, Gross: 106386 Lb, 48256 kg, Max: 174700 Lb, 79243 kg

I've just been doing return flights and then entering manual fuel, or trying.

They probably asked you to do that so that the installer can set them up properly.
