How it should work, this is with next Preview: Automatic is what it would normally do, so that it should ignore a manual setup. Fixed means that the manual setup is repeated on the next build. Once means that it goes back to automatic after the build.

Select a preset voice setup with few items enabled when including the HSI callouts.

Is there a way to export flight assessments in other formats other than TXT?
A group of us are participating in a group flight for prizes next week and it is going to depend on landing rates. TXT files are easy to edit, however. If we could export it to HTML and give it to the event organizer he could be assured that no editing has been done.

Not sure if this is already available...

I am getting CDI and GSI callouts. On the first callout for CDI it also says "Localiser". On the first callout for GSI I also hear "Glide Slope". The HSI or Horizontal Situation Indicator contains the CDI and GSI, so by setting HSI callouts I get those. Remember that some ILS only have Localiser so you would not hear Glide Slope.

The HTML version of the Assessment de-brief is found in the records page.

...even if HTML is used, that's more or less a simple text file as well, so no guarantee editing has not taken place.

Mainly to eliminate the need to have IF generate the flight when it's imported, then you go to the flight gen to make payload and fuel changes, and then it generates it again. Would be nice to generate it once with the values that we want upon import as an option, and if not just have IF carry on with recommended values as I also do that a lot.

You could try setting up your manual payload and fuel first, don't allow a new build, then import the plan.

20/August/2020:

Latest IF versions include screen reader support and in-sim voice callouts by codelegend.com

Preview build 28:

Ideal Flight Professional P3D v4/5
Ideal Flight 10 Professional P3D v2/3
Ideal Flight 10 Special Edition
Ideal Flight 10 Original

Please try the manual fuel load dialog, that should be OK now.

I've also improved the description of the HSI callouts which now says CDI Direction Indicator and GSI Glide Slope.

Oi, keep running into this problem...

Fuel Remaining: 843 Gal, Weight: 5649 Lb, 2562 kg
Fuel Requested: 1719 Gal, Weight: 11519 Lb, 5225 kg
Fuel Required: 1570 Gal, Weight: 10519 Lb, 4771 kg
Maximum Fuel Load: 6804 Gal, Weight: 45587 Lb, 20678 kg

When I do automatic, 10519 LB of fuel is added just fine.

When I add a pound or so more mainly just to test the fuel dialogue I can't?

Also, I put 0 LB of payload in for cargo just to test fuel only. I've tried switching to Gal and KG and no go, always wind up with 843Gal.

Also does this when I attempt to add a bit less fuel than the required amount.

I've got it set on fixed but it has done this on once before.

Also with FSAerodata, on a new PC I installed it just fine, the addon is enabled in the sim, Ideal FLight 28 indexed the scenery and the briefing does not acknowledge that FSAerodata is installed. Not sure about how to troubleshoot that. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the database.

The bug remains, and I think I figured it out. if you look at your briefing, you will see the fuel remaining, fuel requested and fuel required. what's going on is when the sim is loaded, it will load the fuel remaining, not the fuel requested. I noticed that when looking at someone's briefing over the phone and kind of memorizing the numbers. No I'm not that good at memorization, I just happen to notice the pattern.

Hope that helps a bit.

I am also having the same problem as orinks with the manual loading of fuel in the plain as wwell it is loading the remaining fuel instead of the requested fuel.

Check in:

C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Log

In that folder, open "Index.log" and there should be an entry for fsAerodata such as;

Include Add In Navdata: c:\users\you\documents\fsaerodata files\navigation data\navaids
