Is there a way to actually put in the block fuel without having to regenerate the plan? Here is the use case.

I import a plan from sim brief. I found out it gives me a block fuel of 196 thousand pounds. Fine. I put that into the fuel planner after loading the flight plan. If i do this before It tries to regenerate the last flight which is not going to work. I then reimport the sim brief flight, or:
I import the sim brief flight, put in the block fuel of 196 thousand pounds in the flight generator, then find that it has to regenerate the flight. I can't do that, as my sim brief alts and stuff will be nil. Is there. a way to some how do this once, then keep it for the imported IFR plan in this case, or import the plan, put in the block fuel, then have it just add that to the flight generator without regenerating the flight plan? Or, is there an easier way? If there is not, can there be a dialogue added after the alt dialogue when importing plans to overwrite the block fuel, yes no? I've ben meaning to ask this for a few months now but have not gotten around to it until now when I have a bit of time to breathe.

Hi Steve,

Look forward to testing out the new work to the throttle manager.

Can you incorperate the manager, at some point, to enter autothrottle values into the aircraft autothrottle, if it has one?

Also, for those that don't have flight sticks and can do manual takeoff, takeoff assist would be appreciated.

Steve Waite wrote:Nearly ready with next build. You can just rename your bad ID 3 folder and copy another in there from a saved profile and leave it till later. Sorry about the flights lost, you just have to fly some more. With IF you can fly a lot more I hope. Lot's more to come yet.

Hey, don't worry about it. It' snot a big deal. I would have in this case lost I think 2 or 3. Now my other one that corrupted, well, I have a back up of that as well, so I can if needed import that one, or not, it doesn't matter. The good thing is, it's beeing fixed.

Blessings.

By the way I can't also find a way to export my flights from IF into a format this log book would see. Is ther a way to export these so we do not have to enter all of them in by hand as manual reports into this logging software we are testing? I might also contact the author as well to see if he can come up with somethingn for his data importer as well.

Before each flight the files including flight file, flight plan and briefing can be sent anywhere we want.

After each flight the assessment shows the flight details so another program could pull data from those: C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Log\3_Assessment.log

After each flight the profile score contains flight details:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Profiles\3_ID\3_Score.dat

After each flight the detailed records of the flights are kept:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Profiles\0_ID\Records

3/April/2020:

Latest IF versions include screen reader support and in-sim voice callouts by codelegend.com

Preview 12:

Ideal Flight Professional P3D v4
Ideal Flight 10 Professional P3D v3
Ideal Flight 10 Special Edition
Ideal Flight 10 Original

Please note only versions IFPro for P3D v4 and IF10SE>augmented for FSX feature the accessible Voice and Assistant functions.

The payload manual value changes were not saved, that should now work OK.
The filter quadrants were labeled out of order.

The engine data is spoken from the kneeboard page 4.

The kneeboard page is still in temporary operation to speak out the information pages. The speak kneeboard hotkey re-speaks the information page current. Later there will be an info page selection leaving the kneeboard alone.

The Assist throttle manager is still a work in progress. It learns the power of the plane in ten or fifteen seconds steady flight. At the moment it uses full performance so maybe better to apply it when in range of speed, if in a powerful aircraft.

Hi Steve,

Currently doing a flight and am trying to customize the voice settings to my needs.

Can you add a brief description as to what is read with each item when setting it on the voice selection page?

For example right now on cruise phase I have GPS information checked, altitude reporting, navigation functions, but out of all of those the course deviation indicator is not reading. I need to know what I need checked in order for that to read.

Also while the voice does give us indication that the glideslope is is nav1, apart from the percentages we do not know if we have captured the glideslope and sometimes it gets lost in the information. I cut down on that a lot as of now though but I do want the CDI reading.

Also I'm not sure if you remember the sound idea I had for specific events such as Glideslope captured?

Will do! Yes sound effects are on the asap todo list.

Have you got HSI enabled in the voice settings for the voice set you have selected? That will call out the glideslope will be above if too far out.

Thanks! I will keep things moving along as fast as I can.

Payloads don't work properly - on some planes comes out short. That's just been fixed.
