I'm almost done testing now. Just a few little jobs to do before uploading.

Currently reads out the current section of the plan as we fly over waypoints, calls out when the NAV senses a glideslope. There are more than sixty callouts made - during adjustment of controls like AP, VS and ALT - along the route during altitude changes - equipment changes gear up down, flaps - also when damages are sensed to the equipment.

The Kneeboard key (SHIFT+F10 usually) cycles through six pages of information, including the flight plan, page seven puts pages one to six in one slot. Hiding the kneeboard resets the page to page one with the main situation called out when selecting the kneeboard again.

Remember if you are on FSX and have IF10 Special Edition, you will need the >augmented upgrade since this includes the interface to many of the callouts. The P3D v4 version IFPro includes the >augmented unlocks so speech capability is already available. The P3D v2/v3 version IF10Pro is not compatible.

Awesome, can't wait to try and test!

Can we have a way to know when the glideslope is about to be captured? Also would be helpful to know whether the localizer is captured/alive. We need to know this information to arm approach mode at the correct time.

Thanks.

When the sim is running we can go to the IF menu on IF main window (as well as in the sim menu) and that contains the IF in-sim menu. In there is a menu item to repeat the last message that IF displayed on the screen. All those on screen messages are spoken now. I will enhance that mechanism to include the spoken messages as well, and we can replay messages with that.

When we select the IF main window during the simulation, this already contains the recent on-screen messages for the screen reader. I will add the new spoken messages to that.

Another way to hear recent messages is to select the IF main window menu, there we can choose the Flight Log text file. The speech controls can be set to save speech in the log, so at the end of the log file will be the recent speech accessible to the screen reader as well.

23/December/2019:

Ideal Flight Professional P3D v4
Ideal Flight 10 Professional P3D v3
Ideal Flight 10 Special Edition
Ideal Flight 10 Original

New: Included with IF Professional for P3D v4 and IF10 Special Edition for FSX - In-sim Voice. Choose the voice controls from the main IF popup menu. Voice is currently experimental.

Please look out for problems - a lot of work has gone into this upgrade.
