Postby rsvette12 » Mon Dec 10, 2012 1:17 am

Very interested in this purchase looks very helpfull
1.) Can I get the created plan into the ngx fmc
2.) When it creates a plan will the plan input all the stars to a given runway so when appraoching the airport I will be on track for the ils landing dont use atc does not work that well
3.) Your AI function that can be shut off as I use UT2

Thanks so much

1. At the moment IF only makes plans like FSX plans, I take the plan in FSC and create a .rt2 file for the NGX. An upgrade coming soon exports file types where you want them like the coroute folder.

2. Add approaches to the plan in FSC, then drop the new plan on IF and the flight is made from that. IF also has an approach mode so you get taken right to the landing spot on any runway if you like. Problem for ATC is you want to land on X but they want you to land on Y, that's life :)

3. Set Ai count to zero. However IF default is set to 10, That means there are up to 6 airports to share the 10 Ai. The departure, the arrival, and up to 4 airports in between. These are scheduled around your route so there's always something going on. I have UT2 but I still allow the IF Ai as I have it set to insert a few GA which won't upset the airport scedules. Go into the Ai Selection and uncheck everything and add just a few GA, a baron, a c172, and a mooney.

You can copy/paste approaches straight from the Navigraph/NavDataPro files in the Edit Plan window. You can also alter the runways the autoplanner suggested with the Edit Plan button.

Thanks for your interest.

“If has has an approach mode so you get taken right to the landing spot on any runway if you like.” I do not mind back dooring the pln to rte - can you do me a favour can you post some txt here of the flighplan from kbos to kjfk as the demo does not allow this I would luv to see the stars before catching the localizer if it looks good I’m sold and looking forward to your .rte functionality – one other thing I only fly ngx so how does the fuel and such get into fmc do you manually load it from your output data provided or somehow its loaded into the ngx automatically, looking forward to your reply and thanks you Steve, appreciate it.

The fuel is added in the .FLT

[Fuel.0]
TankSelector=All
TankSelector1=All
Center=32.15
LeftMain=32.15
RightMain=32.15
LeftAux=10
RightAux=10
LeftTip=10
RightTip=10
Center 2=10
Center 3=10
External 1=10
External 2=10

IF Cold and Dark has an option fuelled for the route - uncheck it and enter the fuel in the FMC as you would normally. Use the in flight fuel reports and the fuel report in the assessment to set your Range (Aircraft Flight Parameter).
Speak later...

copy/paste route into a .PLN file with notepad.
