found an odd bug using preview 27. I'll try my best to explain it. I'll be using examples here.

1. launch ideal flight (IF)
2. load a flight plan.
3. go to the flight generator.
4. I have mine set to none as I loaded mine from simbrief.
5. hit alt f for fuel manual entry.
6. change the unit to KG.
7. enter for example 14935

8. hit ok through all the prompts and confirm you want the plan redone.
9. after the plan is redone go to the full briefing.
10. notice the fuel is correct at about 32000 pounds.

Now here comes the fun part.

1. from the home screen hit enter. this will take you to "fly."
2. accept the launch of the sim to in my case KDFW to KSEA.
3. wait for the sim to launch.
4. in my case I checked and the fuel had only 7000 pounds loaded.

I checked in the fuel manager and I saw 32000 pounds of cargo and 7000 pounds of fuel. I tried to take a still of the video I was (keyword was) going to do. This worked in preview 26 flawlessly btw.
I'm using a pc I am controling from 300 miles away so, things might look a bit odd. If you need a screen cap of the briefing I can try and do that if needed.

Thanks.
Attached is the screenshot of hopefully the right area.

If the attachment didn't come through (I did not see it in the preview) here is a dropbox link.

Just in case, here is the screen cap of the briefing. I got the numbers for fuel from simbrief by the way.

This might be an odd question, but since the cargo was correct, what was the fuel in KG you entered? If you entered 14935 for both fuel quantity and cargo, then of course they are going to be off.

In your bug report you didn't say how much payload in KG you entered. If you entered nothing, by default IF defaults to 100 of whatever you set it to, in this case KG.

Actually, there was no change to fuel or payload coded between 26 and 27, so it should be the same in 26. So I wonder, if it worked flawlessly in 26 but not in 27, if another aircraft has been chosen, or some other thing changed?

Anyway I'm checking this all through so hopefully I can find something within IF in need of correction.

Yes there is a problem when changing between Automatic, Once and Fixed. When choosing Once and KG, then input the desired Kg amount, so long as there's room that will be the amount loaded, then after the control is back on automatic. But when choosing Fixed, the program chooses the calculated value, and when choosing Automatic the value entered goes to zero. So I'll be repairing that today.

Thanks for the report, glad it has been spotted. These items were messed around a lot during the initial upgrades to Accessible controls and there were some mistakes made when exchanging those controls.

Seems as though FSAerodata has made some changes.

I reported a bug with their latest configuration tool where upon enabling the database, the scenery entries are not added to the scenery CFG and no scenery library entries are created.

Despite this, I added the scenery entries manually and ensured they are active in the scenery library, re-ran the sim to finalize, and then had IF do a re-index.

It looks as though it's installed correctly, however when I make a flight in IF and look to see whether it has detected FSAerodata it has not. The reason I know this is because the
"Installed Navigation data: Fsaerodata X" is not present in the briefing.

This is on a new PC so my primary PC still has the line. This bug must have to do with brand new installs of FSAerodata.

Not worried too much about it, at least IF still works and I can fly.

OK. Could be that the briefing can't deduce the fsAerodata manually installed like it is, so I will have to check this out later. But if it is installed into the scenery correctly IF will assimilate it and that will override the navdata in the remaining scenery.

On a side note, one thing I'd love to do is, when importing a flight, in that same dialog actually select the payload and fuel directly from there. So instead of just overwriting altitude, in that same dialog we can have the altitude area for overwriting, next to that manual payload entry, followed by a manually fuel entry button which would bring up a dialog similar to the manual fuel entry in the flight generator.

I can't remember if I suggested it before and whether I was told it'd be impossible. I recall suggesting something similar. Mainly to eliminate the need to have IF generate the flight when it's imported, then you go to the flight gen to make payload and fuel changes, and then it generates it again. Would be nice to generate it once with the values that we want upon import as an option, and if not just have IF carry on with recommended values as I also do that a lot.

Or, another option would be to add SimBrief support to IF which could grab the fuel/payload and use it when importing SimBrief plans. That's just an idea though.

Yes, some of that has already been mentioned and these things can be done.

I will be sending a new build to Flight 1 soon for their wrapper and that will be the main item on the download page. Then we can start work on Preview builds for accessibility phase 3.

Thanks as always everyone for your support and encouragement. Closing up shop now so I hope you all have a good weekend.

cargo had nothing entered. fuel was entered at I believe 14539 kg. So, cargo was the default what ever that is set to. I checked that about 5 times after submitting the report and the result was the same every time.
