It is just the exceptions now. The error hasn't happened since the last time I got it, which was... 25B? I can't remember exactly now.

I'm on P3DV4.

I'll see what I can do about changing conditions to either reproduce the error or make the exception no longer exist. The assist window pops up okay, but the populate location items, as the exception message suggests, is empty.

I can... but I've figured out what addon was causing the issue. Traffic Global.

Specifically, I disabled the "Traffic Global Airport Facilities" scenery, reindexed, and flight assist working fine in all instances.

I've had it on for a while before this error business, but never had any issues with it until 22/23. Sorry I didn't check that sooner...

Good work! I wonder how it causes the problem? It might be changing the scenery on the fly. I will check it out...

In the IF code the data format of the parking must change to a format inconsistent with the standard for IF to catch the error in the data. I'm not sure yet as I've not installed the addon. However, from reading the forums, they do have a very large amount of problems with this addon. I expect it is this error in the data format the addon creates that is affecting the systems that it cannot work with. Any addon attempting to read the data will likely fail. There could be many situations caused in the simulator that don't necessarily emerge right away and cause any number of problems. Perhaps IF development has found their problem, we shall see...

I'm honestly not sure why the airport facilities scenery exists. When you install Traffic Global and run the wizard to add the traffic entry to your scenery to enable it, the scenery entry gets added. This does not effect traffic BGL files however, so disabling it does no harm. I appear to get traffic with or without it enabled.

OK Thanks for the info.

I'm glad it is still operational without the services. I've not had time to install it yet.

I should be able to make a work around for the services by interpretation of the new parking data given.

Will report on this by Friday hopefully.
