Seems OK here. Maybe the problem of no reader support was due to the parking problem stopping the window initialising fully. I might have fixed the parking problem as mentioned earlier so will have to get you to try it. You said with certain aircraft it worked OK so can you try with a working aircraft and see if the Assist window operates properly then? If it does work, you should get the Move to Location selected first. I've now set the first item as the AP items button for the new build.

That's better, although why not just have flaps detail checkbox by itself do all of the flap callouts if people wish, with them both checked it does both percent and degrees, and with one or the other checked it just says percent or degrees?

I think that may be a better solution. Leaving all three flaps options, flaps detail, flaps percent and flaps degrees unchecked the voice will not say anything for flaps.

Yes, I was going to do that eventually with some other options, but I wanted to wrap up a version for you to check the assist window.

Preview 25a is an interim build to check the Assist window parking and those few mods:

Had a quick test of preview 25A.

It unfortunately did not fix the parking issue. My testing of gate A 4 at KPHL and gate A 12 at KLAX still give me the floating point error.

Wonder if it's something to do with scenery. I never changed anything at these airports though...

OK Thanks. I will look at more possibilities.

Is that correct?

also on a side note, with the new sim coming out next month, will Ideal Flight have a version for it?

I am hoping it can do everything that the current version of IF can do. Currently with IF, I don't have to touch the sim interface for essential things like choosing an aircraft, loading plans etc. I rarely if ever launch the sim without IF doing it for me going direct to cockpit. But at least the sim is perfectly usable without IF, with P3D and FSX.

It looks as though all blind users are going to have to get IF for this new sim if it is going to be supported. The entire interface is all rich graphics and totally inaccessible. Despite Asobo and MS saying they have blind testers/researchers and such, the accessibility menu doesn't bode well for screen reader users from what I'm reading on reddit. Just color blindness and motor impairments.

So far, I know Tramp is going to be supported, so we'll have a doable autopilot for the new sim, so we can hear the amazing audio, hear the sounds at airports, hopefully auto-throttles will be better, and for prop planes we have IF throttle manager...

Multi Crew Experience is probably going to be supported, but what remains to be seen is whether any addon can write to these new FMS's that are in the default airliners, for example.

Ideal Flight is not so simple as those addons since it works from starting the sim from a saved flight file. The initial version FS2020 is more or less an XBOX release which lacks facility at the moment.

I might be looking in the wrong place, have I got this right:

If a certain parking location is chosen in the flight generator, the FP error comes up when Assist is selected in the main menu, the Assist window does not appear until after OK to the error?

If choosing an OK parking in the flight generator, the FP error pops up when you attempt to move to that certain parking location in the Assist window?
