Do you mean the profile records? You could copy the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Profiles

or one folder corresponding to the pilot:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Profiles\0_ID

TylerK93 wrote:I have a problem that I'd like to report that has been present for several builds (I can't recall when it first appeared). I have the B737-800 (180 liveries) pack from Rikoooo, and due to the sheer number of liveries, Ideal Flight goes unresponsive for over ten to fifteen seconds when choosing a variation of this aircraft. It also goes unresponsive when choosing the aircraft itself from the model dropdown. I'm using NVDA 2019.3.1, Windows 10 64-bit. Ideal Flight and my Prepar3d directory are both stored on a solid-state drive. Thanks!

180 variations? Goes unresponsive? You mean it takes a long time to check the paints but works OK?

For the large set of paints: As a temporary speed up you could edit the aircraft.cfg and include only those paints you prefer by removing the [fltsim.N] sections and renumbering the remaining few to 0..N. Make a backup cfg copy first.

...looks like I can speed up the process with many variations since the program uses a windows api that is slow to gather that information. Hopefully the improvement will be OK. I'm aiming to get that into the next update.

In other work, the throttle manager is now pre-emptive with look ahead and learning AI. It works on a four second cycle so it will be a few knots slow in climbs and a few knots fast in descents. So it won't suit jet fighters too well but still works OK. Usually these techniques would be done on a frame by frame basis but IF doesn't stress the simulator like that.

Next I can add assistance for landing.

Also coming is the accessible selection of navigation.

I tested an aircraft with 200 variations, with the new code, paint selection is down to a couple of seconds.

Yes, all the flight files and some others can be sent to wherever you want to copy them to. In the Export Files window on the Flight Gen page you can copy those items out.

Also you can use the Start Other Programs window from the startup page popup menu. You can write a .bat to copy any files you want that are not included. That .bat can be launched when the flight starts or at several other times.

I can wait. I'll be at work anyway. Lol. And tomorrow I have a 6 hour shift.

I guess what I can do if I want to fly let's say Saturday is rename my profile folder that is corrupted, keep it in there and just use one of my other ones for now. I don't mind.

Thanks for everything. I wish I had a copy of the folder I hozsd earlier as that had about 45 to 60 flights I had logged, over I think 1000 hours. OH well. It works, and I'm not too upset. Glad I found this before it hit the public.

Thanks for all the work you do. I'd bring you a plate of cookies, except I can't bake to save my life, and anything I do bake tastes like burned rocks lol! Seriously though, thanks so so much! Your program will revolutionize the way we fly.

Nearly ready with next build. You can just rename your bad ID 3 folder and copy another in there from a saved profile and leave it till later. Sorry about the flights lost, you just have to fly some more. With IF you can fly a lot more I hope. Lot's more to come yet.
