This is fixed now and I've made a few more improvements to loading plans as well. The plan loading was changed during the accessibility upgrades to introduce the override for the cruise altitudes.

If we have not got a flight loaded, and we load a plan, either dropped on IF or by the load file menu, and the departure is from another airport than where we are, we wind up where we left off. in the meantime we can use the Move to location menu item, choose a parking place, then load the plan.

It'd be amazing if we can have the ability to choose a parking place directly from the move to departure dialogue, or when IF moves to a departure when loading a plan file. It would save us from having to visit the flight generator just to change the parking place.

What it does, or should do, that's fixed, is pick a spot relevant to the plane you have so you would not ordinarily need to choose a parking place to start in. If the aircraft has parking codes, and your airport has parking codes, you get put in a parking code spot. At that point the flight gen page is only the next page and the parking/runway selection is there.

But what I think you are suggesting is when you move airports by loading a plan it will be automated then. So what you would like maybe, is a dialog that allows you to pick the spot you want to be parked in already, to save rebuilding in a new parking place. That's an extra step involved in dropping plans and requires a new dialog. That would be something we don't often need I would have thought.

Most IF Users go from airport to airport, and they start in the parking location they stopped in. Only when deciding to fly some other route might that be handy to allow to choose the parking when we drop a plan. When we choose to move to an airport we are allocated a parking spot.

The problem of starting in the wrong place is temporary in the current builds. When we drop a plan starting at another departure and we have not got a current flight loaded we miss the spot and start at the old place. That's not happening now, ordinarily we need not choose unless we deliberately want to.

Anyway it's a possibility to put it in at the point of dropping it sees the departure is different and asks about parking. Mostly I would cancel and wait to see where I am starting. Usually I am already where I want to be, when I left off.

The limited profile doesn't allow to move without flying. The committed profile doesn't allow changes to the assessment.

I'll probably get an update ready for the weekend. Fixes the problem with forgetting the old parking spot when we load an external plan.

Next week I will continue development of the Voice Settings Window and the following update we will get to see how it was envisioned to work....There will be a lot of checkboxes but we will drill down via the subgroups already showing in the checkboxes. Hopefully this will be a fair solution. Not set in stone.

With the fix on starting in the place of the dropped plan, does not choose the new parking space certain cases when pasting in a route. We start at the right airport, probably facing an odd way on a runway. We need to select our parking space manually and build the flight. Fixed in next update.

Jordan mentioned the winds tabbing can be improved with keeping together the pairs of speed and direction. Fixed in next update.

So I just noticed something in Preview 06. If The Voice is enabled and set to speak magnetic headings, you hear something like, "Three hundred twenty seven thousand three hundred thirty-two degrees, compass, magnetic." I'm sure it's not supposed to say it that way, LOL!

Yeah! I expect that would confuse everyone. Have you been going around in circles? Sorry about that.

Thanks for the feedback I am pretty sure that's not working right! What it is supposed to do is split into 5 degree steps when you turn. We'll get there in the end, I hope without too much meandering along the route.
