Hi there,

I have been keeping an eye on this forum for a bit now and am excited that you have finished with the voice system. I have heard that you are wishing to integrate an instrument panel within ideal flight and hope to also see that in action. Let's just put it this way it will be even better than the time I flew with the it's your plane program.

Keep up the good work,
Thomas

The voice speaks out all the messages that IF puts on the screen, they are reflected for the regular screen reader on the IF in-flight page. But now spoken out at the time makes it much better.

Next I will be adding various callouts like flaps and gear and information about attitude, altitude and so on.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Wow, that will be awesome that you are doing thae. That would be cool if you could configure it to where it would assist in allowing us to fly the plane manually plus autopilot. So how are you planning on configuring the call outs?

That will all come out in the wash I hope. I'm going to start with general announcements location attitude and so on, and provide settings for how often things are reported. Also include the obvious ones gear and flaps, touch down and so on. Let's see how it goes and I'll modify it as necessary.

Don't know if you already know about this one but would you see if you can give access to the altimeter to change the pressure settings and what not. Especially viewing your altitude and such.

What I'm doing right now is putting in messages that concern aspects of the behaviour of the simulator that is only observable on screen, such as starting up, connecting to IF, failure to start, loading a new flight or plan things like that.

Hi there. That's totally understandable and I support you all the way. This sort of thing takes time and will not be done over night. But nonetheless I appreciate your ambition through this.

Thanks. There's an order of things I am adhering to that makes progress easier. Seemingly less essential bits and pieces have to be in place before moving on. I'm hoping to get something out shortly so as to test the speaking component in the field. Soon as that is going I can get full steam ahead on the good stuff. I appreciate all the encouragement.
