Hi Steve,
With the Flight 1 version there is a user data file that can be deleted, I believe the RXP version has a similar file.
In Ideal Flight Exports section there's an optional item for the GTN that deletes the user waypoints file in the Flight 1 version, (GTN 750/650 User Data) you can change the name of the file and the location to that of the RXP version similarly as you did with setting up the export plan.
Alternatively I think there is a way in the instrument options to delete the user data.
1. Is this deleting path?
C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\GTN\nonvol\sys_nand0,GTN 750/650 User Data (\sys_nand0)
In the "nonvol" folder resides a strange file named sys_nandi - size 270,337KB. I suspect this contains the user waypoints. I've scoured my C:\ and can't find any other suspect.
When I opened sys_nandi with notepad I found only rows and columns of "y"s.
2. Within the F1 GTN750 instrument there is indeed an option to delete one or all user waypoints. Unfortunately it stated that any waypoint I chose was always part of a flight plan and could not be deleted.
After hours of searching I gave up, uninstalling F1 GTN750 and Garmin trainer, then re-installing both. In the "nonvol" folder, along with copies of other original "EEPROM" files, I placed a "sys_nandi" file which I had opened with notepad and deleted the contents. I suspect I may have fatally damaged that file.
After all the above I built a fresh flight plan in Ideal Flight, exported, and all seems to be working properly with no errors so far. The GTN750 in each of my aircraft is accepting the new plan.
I hope this long report is of some interest.
Regards, Jim
