What I have noticed in some installations is that the computer can be closed down before Prepar3D has finished closing. In those situations, with Windows 10, Prepar3D is still running in a reduced form when the computer is restarted. So then we start a flight with Ideal Flight and we might get certain issues. One being that we might see a message to say that a version of the simulator is already running, and another might be that the flight file or the plan file has an issue. Then after restarting the simulator all is well again. Maybe check that the simulator is fully closed before switching off the PC by running Task Manager and looking down the list of processes for Prepar3D, the list of programs may not show Prepar3D running so the process list below programs must be checked as well.
The only difference in Preview 25 is that the plan includes the full <appversion> block with four entries as previously described. Earlier versions only had two items in the block as they do in P3D v2/3, P3D v4/5 plans include four items.
I'm not sure if your aircraft looks for a certain appversion value in that block for the desired operation of the attitude gauge. That might be a possible cause of the problem.
