Developments during 2022 were mainly directed toward Windows 11, P3D v5, and also some improvements, bugfixes, and tidying up which had been delayed by the Accessibility upgrades.

Hello all,

I've just arrived back from a period in Spain, during which the P3D v5.4 update was released by LM. All aspects of Ideal Flight Professional should work without concern with this new P3D update.

IMPORTANT
Please remember to make sure to run the new version of P3D first, going completely into the simulation, then closing, before attempting to start P3D from IF Pro. This is because P3D finishes setup the first time it is run and after that when IF Pro is run on the new version it can properly realise the new version updates before continuing.

When IF Pro starts the first time with the new P3D version, IF will show your last P3D version number and will then create its own special indexes before going into the main IF screen. Subsequent runs of IF will show the new version number of P3D you are using.


Please note that given the enormous complexity and breadth of functionality of IF Pro, it is impossible for a small team of testers to evaluate every part of this software in collaboration with P3D in a short time. So I ask that anyone experiencing any issues with IF Pro paired with P3D v5.4 please contact me with details as soon as possible so that I can implement fixes in the shortest possible time.
