Restore to new pc

Hi Steve I install IF on to a new pc.When I do a restore from the old pc IF Pro I can only go back to 8/24/17. I thought I could restore from programdata IF Pro and it would have my last flights of this month. I havent made any backups lately. So how do I restore my last flights ?

You must be restoring an older backup. Why not just copy over the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional

When copy from old pc to new pc it wants me to register again. The copy on the new pc is register. Any way to get pass this? I had a problem with flight1 reg when installing on the new pc but got it done. Thanks.

Yes - simply avoid copying over the file:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Config\IFlight.dat
Only allow that file if it's from the registered installation. So just avoid copying that file across from your old PC.

Hi,
Good to hear it.
In future, the best way to keep a backup and restore a backup is to use the supplied feature found in the popup menu on the starting up page of Ideal Flight. The menu item "Data Recovery" and the submenu items "Backup Data..." and "Restore Data..." should be used to make a backup and that backup can be restored without registration issues found with manual copying of files around.
