Aircraft position

Postby mhazyvega » Sat Feb 18, 2012 11:52 pm

Hi,
ive bought egnx airfield, when i use fsx as normal my aircraft parks up at the stands fine.
when i start with ' ideal flight' the aircraft parks to far forward on the stands, poking throught the main reception.

can you help? is there some afcad files I need to change?

Hi Mike,

That sounds a bit odd, I will have to load up egnx airfield and have a look at the data. It could be an old data format for locations that I've not come across.

Have you re-indexed Ideal Flight since installing the scenery and running FSX a first time?

...could be the default parking space chosen is too small, instead go into the Flight Generator page and drop down the parking list and choose a bigger parking space then regen the route...

Hi Mike,

Well i've been messing around with EGNX (UK2000Extreme) and there appears to be no problems with the parking locations although i've not tested them all.

Can you tell me aircraft/parking spot? Presume I have the correct scenery?

All the best

Hi Mike,
Just to let you know that thanks to you the starting places for aircraft has been upgraded, cargo and military types supported. IF now finds the first size large enough and an appropriate cargo, fighter, or bomber parking place...
Thanks;
