Thanks, everyone, for the kind words and feedback. Also, thank you for your patience in waiting for the long-overdue bug fixes and improvements. Most problems are associated with upgrading the program to make it Accessible for users with poor or no eyesight. Please keep an eye on this post for news of release.

The updates coming soon are as follows:

Improved - Runway starts placement
Improved - Paused state when flight is saved is resumed when saved flight is loaded

Where is the fly! assist page? I can't find it in the help documents on the website.

I no longer have been using Ideal Flight since switching to MSFS, but I'd at least like to read about the taxi assist, a feature that I've wanted for a while now, in any sim. The only reason to install P3D again would be for IF.

For Help, press F1 the .htm will appear in your browser if it is set up for opening .htm extensions. Then in the Index page, go to Assist Functions - Automatic Taxi Control:

"Move to Location with Automatic Taxi Control: Also included is the option for Ideal Flight to pilot the aircraft during taxi to any selected location from the list in the Assist form. Choose the desired runway or parking spot and check the Automatic Taxi Control checkbox. Back in the simulator use the hotkeys to start: Use the sequence - CONTROL+SHIFT+S, CONTROL+SHIFT+S, CONTROL+SHIFT+S selects the throttle function with Auto-Taxi, CONTROL+SHIFT+N starts the manoeuvre, CONTROL+SHIFT+B pauses the procedure, CONTROL+SHIFT+S disables the feature. Before invoking Auto-Taxi push back to a suitable position for moving forwards, start the engines, then invoke Auto-Taxi. The user aircraft will slow down or stop behind other traffic unless the Assist setting "Ignore Traffic" is selected. With the sim Crash Detection disabled, the user aircraft will taxi through traffic when Ignore Traffic is selected.

Autopilot Items settings checkboxes: Included are enable and disable of most Autopilot functions. Other settings found in the Autopilot Items checkboxes include "Autopilot Disable on touchdown", "Shut Throttles during touchdown" and "Corrected Attitude on Touchdown". Autopilot will be disengaged upon touchdown, Throttles will be shut around 20 foot above touchdown depending on the gear extents. If the aircraft is reduced in altitude below 20 foot then the assists will be actuated even if the aircraft is not intended to land. When "Corrected Attitude on Touchdown" is set, the Elevators will actuate slightly to keep the nose up."
