All folders are there.

No xml file in .. Documents/P3D V4 add-ons.

I also have the Milviz C310 Redux with no xml file in .../P3D add-ons but is showing in the aircraft selection of IF.

panel and sound and .air file all accounted for....

Just checking - are you looking in "Airplanes Turboprop" rather than "Airplanes Propeller"?

If you press the "View Aircraft List" button you should get your browser with a list of aircraft available. How is it listed? Can you copy / paste the description line from the list? If it is listed as a user craft it will have a link to the images.

The plane neither appears in Airplanes Turboprop nor in Airplanes Propeller.

It is lited in the aircraft view as below :

IF Ai-: User Aircraft: Airplanes\MV_C310R ....................... Cessna 310R Redux, Twin Engine Prop, MilViz

IF Ai-: User Aircraft: Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i .......................

IF Ai-: User Aircraft: Airplanes\MV_PC-6_Amphibian ...................... Pilatus PC6 Porter Float, Single Engine Turboprop, Military Visualizations

OK,

Well the aircraft appears no problems at all in the list on my rigs. So Perhaps I will have to get the installer for the aircraft and take a look at what happens there.

Speak later.

...just a thought - before I get that aircraft, can you make sure there's no other programs or the sim running when you install the plane.

Then run the sim first alone to make sure anything is installed right before continuing. Then close the sim and run IF so that it can pick up the new changes in the sim.

On the start page we should also choose to re-index the aircraft so that a prior install is reassessed. That may be what it needs now.

I installed the plane again, SIM and other programs not running. AV, UAC etc. off.

Started SIM and closed.

Started IF, re-indexed aircrafts.

Plane does still not appear in the selection.

OK thanks for trying that. An odd problem. Normally, so long as the .air file and panel and sound folders are present, and it can read the .cfg, which you sent, then should appear as it does here. However I don't have the real version installed. Don't worry I'll figure out what it is for the next update. Must be one of the best aircraft ever so I want to be sure it's supported properly.

OK. I purchased the official product. The download button presented does not work or may not work so don't click on it. Wait for the mail with the download link, that works. So I already have a message on their board to enable my 9 remaining downloads which are already at 4 remaining with only one download.
I notice it's not a true P3D 4 aircraft and installs as we already know into simobjects.

Ideal Flight finds the aircraft but shows a blank line and no image. So the problem appears to be theirs. I will see if I can do a work around.

Since P3D shows the 3D model we can see it in the simulator choices. But there's no thumbnail.jpg.

So we can take a screenshot and save it in

C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\Texture.C-GRJZ\thumbnail.jpg

also we place thumbnail shots into these folders too.

Texture.G-POWB
Texture.LN-KYV
Texture.N70EU

It looks like they just forgot to include them and that shows they have not followed the simulator provided guidelines for machine readers like IF. IF is a machine reader application and won't launch into a 3D application to show the planes.

Moving onto what happens when IF checks the condition of the aircraft......
