Tour Mode
Subsets also allow Tours. Tour files contain a contiguous list of airports to visit, one after the other. The planner shall build a route to return to the start of the file when the end is reached.
We can specify a list of airports to visit by editing with Notepad:
KMSP KMCO 12:55 9/7 KPHX 12:00 KLAX MDPC
We place an airport ICAO followed by an optional time and or date. When we load the file, the file is checked and ordered one ICAO per line.
Once we have loaded our new text file, the first line, line zero, should contain the Tour Designator: "[..]". This tour designator line prevents IF from reordering the file into a Subset alphabetic order.
[..]
KMSP
KMCO 12:55 9/7
KPHX 12:00
KLAX
MDPC
We can be more creative and specify a list of airports to visit which might give us a Hub airport with routes from and back to the Hub: The hub airport is shown with bold font:
[..]
KMSP
KMCO
KMSP
KPHX
KMSP
KLAX

MDPC
With that file installed as our Tour, we can start where we want as usual, and we go to an outlying airport and back to our hub airport. Remember that the home airport page shows our current location for the profile, the airport we are currently at, that is not necessarily our hub airport.
When the question is asked if we wish to start at the beginning of the tour, we can apply that to move us to that location.
Pressing the Plus button to install the tour, or with the tour already loaded, allows us to choose any ICAO to move to excluding where we are located currently if that exists in the list.
We exit tour mode by applying a normal subset, for example the Complete Scenery Airports Set, at the top of the list. Incidentally, the Complete Scenery Airports Set will load in the least time of all subsets.
