Augmented improves IF10 but it's still an FSX focussed product, P3D focus is next. :D

Flight1 contacted me yesterday and said they would most likely be ready to receive the IF10 version [sf] file next week.

The file updates all current IF10 users to version [sf].

You will be able to purchase the UPGRADE Ideal Flight 10 >augmented

when the version [sf] finally is made available for download.

So it's probably going to be available next week.

It's not been possible without YOUR help so there's a LOT in the free update.

Thanks everyone, especially the Beta testers. :ugeek:

The update improves weather and thermals, ground effects, turbulence and wind shearing, plans have improved and planning is improved in all manner of ways, for example; searches are now very quickly repeated in the Flight Generator page, it now does not create a flight with a search, rather it just makes a search and selects a random item in the list. The Red Arrow Icon on the main page "Build Flight, New Destination" remains the way to automatically build a new flight destination plucking a random destination from the search as it does now.

The upgrade ">augmented", handles AIRACs and FMCs, and augments every feature already in IF10, and adds dozens of new features without complicating things, like an Ai aircraft that's on your exact plan, your Ai buddy. No point trying to explain, if you like IF10 then the >augmented upgrade gives IF10 a richness I am sure you are going to become very fond of.

while we are waiting I've added a few more bits from the future updates list - diagnostics:
after FSX exited prematurely my assessment has a new item at the foot of the page:

and there's more in the text log (>augmented only).

Thanks for your patience. :D

...another diagnostic keeps track of your available VAS (>augmented only), I snipped this from the log :

63539843579: FSX Peak VAS: 1.280331776 Gb, 4.294967295 Gb available, 3.014635519 Gb remaining

We've had another little delay with an important member of staff sick at F1, but things are now back to full swing. In the meantime I've continued to improve where I can, and if you've been checking the Report http://www.codelegend.com/idealflight/report.htm, I've been bringing forward some more stuff planned for [sg] if it's not too complex. Apologies.
