We''ve got a build being tested with PMDG and iFly FMCs. I've been getting unwanted interruptions, that's life but I'm nearly there, almost ready to send the text off for translation and prepare a build sequence for final testing. I'm right on it now, we've got a new plan type and approaches, I'm installing some mods to the planner which ensures better selection of the available Airways and smoothing over a lot of minor stuff, with enhancements and tweaks to the weather engine.

Thanks Steve! I know the new update will be great! Looking forward to it. Take you're time, I was just kidding about the long wait. I can't imagine the work you must be doing on the update, IF is already a great addon as is.

Take care
Ernesto

The long wait is a problem, you are quite correct and I'm pushing hard to complete it soon. I really appreciate the encouragement! Thanks Ernesto.

...only 5 months late so far

I just didn't get the time I expected to get, back last year updates were coming monthly. Lately I've been posting a bit about progress http://www.codelegend.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=186&start=120 and I'm getting lot's of time on it now. No-one's seen the latest version and knows what's in it, the preview went out had only some of the data mods and part of the weather mods installed for testing. The changes presented no problems and delays had crept in so the plan was altered to include more from the TODO list (shudder) and a BIG upgrade began. It's still every bit IF, improvements have all been to improve the IF-ness of it. There's a few things moved around and the Flight Gen page is better focussed and less fussy. If you own IF, you're getting a much better program than you thought you would, and if you want pro features like properly integrated navdata with the scenery, automated FMC support, and more planning options, that's included in an inexpensive expansion pack with more features than most addons, more soon about it.
