Hi,

I got your number from Flight1 and tested it and it's OK so that's the main thing. Usually this is caused by an internet security program that does not allow the registration process to send the details.

Can you first make sure your browser can go to:
http://www.codelegend.com/idealflight/default.htm

Can you make sure your AV / Internet Security is not disallowing the registration process. Usually there is a disallowed .exe program list in your Security program.

Make sure there are no spaces or other characters with the keynumber if you are copy/pasting. Sometimes there could be a hidden character following the keynumber. Paste the keynumber in the middle box, your name in the top, what is important is the keynumber.

...the .exe file name to check for in your InetSecurity program is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ideal Flight 10\iflight10.exe

...Press the register button and after several seconds there should be a confirmation message that the program is registered if the details get sent.
Let me know if you get any message at all after pressing the register button.

Hi Steve
I turned off windows firewall plus my virus checkers and tried to register again with no luck. Yes I can get through to Ideal Flight no problem. I seemed to have tried everything now.

It won't be anything to do with your browser. It won't be windows firewall because you can see the site with the browser. It won't be the AV system. You may have an internet security program like defender, mcaffee, or norton. They keep a disallowed .exe list which prevents sending from the program. Look in Defender -> Tools -> Allowed items

Hi Steve
I don't know if you received my last message yesterday but to answer your question about messages.
I enter the Registration details and then get a message "Please ensure you purchased the key before registering the info" (Not sure what this means"
Anyway I enter the details
NAME
IDEAL FLIGHT ID
FSX ID
WINDOWS ID
I press OK
Then get amessage after about ten secs "Polite Reminder: This copy is not registered"

Hi Jim,
Just to be sure can you go through this:

1. Run up the program and choose the "Registration" menu item.

2. You are presented with a form with three white boxes, the lower one says "Reserved".

3. Type your name in the top box

4. Type or copy/paste into the middle box the 20 character keycode (AlphLowercase+Numbers0..9)

5. then press the left button "Register"

6. You are now presented with a form says your name, keynumber, FSX and Machine IDs,

7. press OK

After maybe 10 seconds you should get registration success or fail
