When using the throttle assist, climb assist etc, do I need to put the holds on? Airspeed hold is used by autothrottle right so no need for that... With this CRJ I get up above 31000 before it starts to stall. Not sure why.

The CRJ has an autothrottle and the IF autothrottle does a similar job. Mainly I've been using the CRJ since it is good for testing the IF software. When at higher altitudes you need to reduce the rate of climb or it can stall.

Okay. I notice that the climb assist changed the rate of climb at the midflight point of 10000, but I noticed it did not change it at the high altitude point of 30000 to 500. I could do it manually but perhaps that's a bug.

OK I'll check that out for the future builds.

I've enabled the change in VS at the high altitude point which will be in the next build. Many thanks for spotting the omission.

Where is the setting to delete the PMDG files for building flights? It's pretty hard to find under export settings.

Go to Flight Generator page, then choose Export Files, and in the "File Types" list at the top choose "PMDG Panel State: Delete with new builds". If your PanelState folder is not the default folder choose Add Location and choose the folder from the folder picker, that will include a new item in the exports list so delete the first item, and check the file name is "Ideal_Flight.*" That will delete all files of names starting with "Ideal_Flight." in that folder.

Can the Ideal Flight throttle assist work with a autopilot autothrottle on? I thought that it would've been disabled once the autothrottle in the aircraft armed itself. I think I have Ideal Flight assist to try and auto switch presets, and while I was on final the preset switched to parking and messed me up... :(

I will make the I.F autothrottle ignored when the aircraft has an autothrottle and when it is armed.

When you use the aircraft autothrottle you should have the I.F autothrottle off. When you have I.F autothrottle and aircraft autothrottle on together you can turn off the I.F autothrottle with the autothrottle on/off hotkey. If you leave the I.F autothrottle on and then cycle the I.F autothrottle speed modes you will be messed up because the throttle has been commanded to alter speed.
