Good idea. I can include the time we get there, as well as the period it takes to that waypoint no problem. That's at the current speed. Also will include Zulu time.

It's all in there just a matter of getting it spoken. Just keep letting me know your thoughts and I'll make whatever we can do happen.

The waypoint message is actually like original in-sim messages, a line appears across the screen. I don't think it matters if you know it's there or not. It's not used a lot only for important stages and confirmation of menu use.

this would make it easier to see how far you have to go on a flight as well.

Also when we fly from one zone to another I will get IF to speak it out and provide the Zulu time with that.

sounds like a neat idea, can't wait for a test build to see how it works. keep up the good work.

"The voice" does not speak in the Voice Setting page when a reader is present. So I have enabled the Voice to speak when the page is selected even if the reader is present. It says "Voice Settings Page".

That way, when a reader is present we will hear the volume mix, and determine if there is any delay in the system before speaking. The reader will get volume priority so we will hear the IF Voice in the background. It speaks just before the reader if the system is behaving. As usual IF does not force the system or the simulator to work hard, so it will wait for other things.

...if you are new to IF we just download and double click the file and use the Update button.

When we run the program after installing an update, the presence of the new file will make IF ask to rebuild the indexes. That's not always absolutely necessary, usually I'll say if the updates to the program requires a new index.

Small changes to scenery might not be detected by IF. So if the scenery has been altered, manually choose the index menu item. If in doubt - rebuild the index.

The profiles are a simple folder structure than can be copied with Explorer. The proper way to do the backup is to use the IF menu item Data Recovery to do the backup or when we install an update. That way a file is included about the backup which IF locates to make restores easier.

Okay, something I've just noticed in this latest version that may be an oversight...

IF now turns on damage and crashes. I'd really like to leave those settings off. Ignore crashes, etc.

Is there a way to prevent IF from messing with those? I turn them off in the sim, but once I load up IF they turn back on.

Thanks.
