Add-on scenery

Postby dutchkip » Tue Apr 23, 2019 8:40 pm

Hi there,
I've been looking at your software for my P3Dv4 and am wondering if I can get a random flight from my installed airport to another installed airport.
I've got about a 170 airport sceneries (all in Europe) and would like a program to let me fly between them but also being able to cover all airports over time.
Is that something this program does?

Would like to know more about that before I take the plunge and buying your program.
$70 is a bit steep if I find out later that it's not what I expected.

Yes, we set up an Airport Subset. In the software we can allocate all addon scenery to a subset. We can edit the subset in Notepad as well. Then we load the Subset in the Flight Generator Filter section, from then on we only get airports in the subset, and then that subset can also be filtered by other items such as ILS or Grass strips.

For this kind of software I would pay in excess of $200 even without the subsets feature! It is good value at $70.

For random flights they will only include those subset airports. We can get it to auto-choose a random next destination, or we can choose a completely new random pair, dept. and dest.

We can choose an airport to fly to, then let it choose a random dest. Then we can reverse it so we can fly into our favourite airport from all locations.

The records keep track of the airports visited so you can see at a glance in the drop down selection if you already been there. Lots more will take a sim lifetime to find it all.

Many thanks Leo.

If you like to check out the new builds section Preview discussion, we are currently beta testing an upgrade.

Have a look at the hints and tips on the support page and the install pages, lots of help around those sections.

Happy flying.
