Random Weather

Postby jscharpf » Thu Dec 29, 2016 4:18 pm

Does random weather take into account the time of the year?
Is it possible to have 35 deg weather in December?
Just wondering if it's better to use the random weather or just the IF weather.

Random weather takes into account time of year and location. The IF10 weather isn't actually random it's procedurally generated so you get the same weather at the same time date location. With Random weather you get similar weather for the date time and location but it's randomised.

...since the procedural algorithm takes seeds from time/day/year - with random weather the time of day and day of year is the same, but the year value is random.
