Vessel Locating Mission

Postby Brent » Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:27 pm

It would be nice if IF set a max payload on these types of missions (vessel locating) when the mission text states that:

"Payload: Pilot and Customs Official, Weight: 2170 Lb, 984 Kg*"

I think I'm putting on a little weight but I think my scale is a bit off! I know I can set it to any old weight but the details seem a bit odd ;)

Cheers,
Brent

Yes indeed, I was going to make it Pilot, Customs official and Equipment, lunch box, and clipboard, but thought it pedantic.

Working out seat count is a bit of a guess, there's no seating count value.

IF thinks there's two seats, and there's only text for:
"Pilot and Customs Official"
with more seats:
"Customs Officers and Pilot"

I can change these to:
"Pilot, Customs Official, and Equipment"
"Customs Officers, Pilot, and Equipment"

what do you think?

I think adding equipment fits well given that limitation....I like "Pilot, Customs Official, and Equipment"

OK since we have items like:
"Passenger with Luggage"
and
"Passengers and Luggage"

I am going to settle for:
"Customs Officer with Equipment"
"Customs Officers and Equipment"

...since the Pilot is mandatory

"Pilot? We don't need no stinkin' pilot!"

Sounds much better :D
