question using A2A

Postby tazzharm » Mon Sep 03, 2012 12:27 pm

Hello Steve
Ideal flight has come along way since I first purchased it
I do have a question regarding using A2A aircraft when I start a free flight and I am checking my aircraft for repairs, if I use the jacks to lift the plane ( loaded flight and plane was on belly ) IF reads this as I have taken off and flying . In the next few updates will this be adressed?
We have spoken along time ago regarding being able to free flight and only being able to see my WWII downloaded planes as AI and IF has really been a great program for this thanks again
Glenn.

Hey Glenn, of course I remember :)

Interesting problem, aircraft suspended in mid air...

Starting from the IF:FSX icon means you can do what you want and then mark the start of the flight, but no Ai. Could do the same with regular flights i suppose. Unless there's another way to determine the aircraft is suspended.

Good one Glenn, added to the list of to-do's.

Nice to hear from you,

You could generate a free flight

go into that and perform maintenance

you may need to shift+P during the maint. and move a few feet to sense a parking location

end the flight in IF and accept the new position

gen your proper flight and continue from there...

Hey Glenn,
What's the best A2A to use for testing?

Hey steve
if I remember correctly the P-40 , spitfire and the newest release P-51 all have the lift jacks option the allows you to put the plane on jacks to test out the hydrolics some one chime in if I am incorrect
