Destination Airport and sorting

Postby Brent » Wed Aug 22, 2012 6:05 pm

I'm wondering if there is any order to the way destination airports are sorted after a search is done on the flight generation page.

Would it be possible to select a sort either by distance or time and have it appended to the destination airport in the dropdown menu of available airports found?

Cheers,
Brent

Yes I have a list of stuff like that been asked for, especially to order the set in alpha or in distance/time - expect something like this coming up with the upgrade package - not fully worked out yet - doing P3D right now.

Thanks again Brent. Got the new version out later today, maybe tomorrow.

Steve
Haven't done a flight yet but generated a plan with the new version and noticed that the IF logo found at the bottom of the html briefing page is absent from my images folder.

a file called:
if_logo_white.jpg (the IF flap on a white background)
is supposed to be in:
C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight 10\Profiles\Images\

Appears there with a fresh install

I've been running the installer and it replaces it OK. Can you try once more install (sounds daft) of IF from the 11s file? Do you have XP or Win7/Vista? I've not got my XP test rig going right now.

Very strange, the logo is back. I couldn't even find the logo in images folder last night; ran the full briefing report several times and each time I got the little broke images symbol at the bottom of the page....started IF up today and it's there! Sorry for the confusion. :?

no not at all Brent, this does not happen on it's own.

it may be to do with a change to the image a few versions ago, but later code cleared up the issue.
i would imagine it's something i caused but has since cleared. I'm keeping it on report.
