Due to this sentence: "These professional features come with the inexpensive upgrade pack announced soon." Some people think they have to pay for the coming update. Can you confirm that previous owners of IF10 do not have to pay..? I couldn't find the post where I believe you said we did not have to pay, but due to my lack of time to search for that post, I simply ask here.

Best
Stig:)

Hey,

I'm here now making sure that if you already own IF10 you're getting a big update and it will give IF a lift for you too. Obviously the main new features are part of the Upgrade Pack, which has more in it than a lot of addons do anyway, and I have put a lot into it to make sure it's worth having. I recommend getting the upgrade pack as there is something for everyone and it will grow on you.

People are starting to camp outside but they won't get it any earlier; yeah it's coming soon now.

Best to all

Here we are building a route between KCPR and KGJT and there's only one navaid in between, CKW VORD on a Victor route or low altitude airway. With a Lear45 loaded we don't get the VOR, with the Baron58 loaded we get the VOR. With the Jet loaded and "Ignore Airways VOR to VOR" plan type selected, we get the VOR even though it is on a Victor airway V26.

With "Ignore Airways VOR to VOR" plan types we don't care what airway the navaid is on, Jet or Victor. We don't just link any old navaids together (unless we want to), since if they don't follow airways, they may draw a straight line through a mountain.

...actually I chose the wrong shots for the tables above, but no matter they serve the purpose of the demonstration. The top one is from the recent AIRAC Cycle published.
