Amazing stuff Steve! :) It seems like [sf] is going to be the biggest upgrade to IF since you first launched it!

Although I've got a big list of extras for all, the exporting function will be part of a big inexpensive payware DLC upgrade. Since it's managed by Flight1 we need to be careful not to devalue the boxed edition.

How about this for a snip of what's coming after [sf]:

1. At the IF start screen choose Navigraph or NavDataPro AIRAC cycle and re-index.
2. Build flights as usual.
3. With Flight Gen "Edit Plan" choose runways, choose departure/approach, choose SID/STAR, rebuild.

...don't want to forget the QualityWings FMS file plan support ;)
They don't get the airway from the FSX XML plans so best to use IF's QW.RTE export files:

Looks like some great stuff on the way Steve. How about support for the LevelD? Also, have you considered supporting the direct copy and paste of a route into IF to then be generated? For example, I often copy routes posted by FlightAware for real world flights and use that to generate my flight plan. It would be useful to be able to copy those routes directly into IF.

Thanks for your continued work!

Hey Aaron,

If you like can you Paste a typical FlightAware plan you are referring to and I'll make sure IF opens it and I'll dig out the Level D and get their plans going for [sf].

Thanks

Hi Steve, thanks for the response. For example, my next planned flight is Jetblue 446 from KTPA to KBOS. From Flightaware I can see the last real flight used a route of: BAYPO DUNKN J210 JOINT J79 JFK KRANN. This kind of notation might be nice to be able to copy that route into IF and have it build it's normal files based on it.

My previous flight was Southwest 509 from KPHX to KTPA and I used the route: TFD OLIIN J2 JCT J86 LEV Q100 REMIS SIMMR BLOND.

Hopefully that helps.

Hi Aaron,
Good, it's what I thought you meant, the Waypoint - Airway - Waypoint routes, I will get IF to generate the flight from those.
Thanks a lot
