I'll continue to hook up engine information accessibility, rpm, N1 N2, and so on, whatever engine types. And improve the throttle control some what. The control is very basic right now, it suffers from hysteresis, which is where it is too slow to react, it should react preemptively, and does not knock off when a control is activated, the hotkey has to be cycled to deactivate. The added engine information will appear in the kneeboard readouts.

By the way, the kneeboard page can be cycled to and the new hotkey for kneeboard re-speak will repeat the current page. That might save some constant callouts.

It might seem odd that I can only accept Windows compressed files. I can accept any kind of files but I don't own the major selection of decompressors and don't go out downloading free ones. I have to keep a secure system and so must stick to a certain basic set of tools. So we have to stick to the one compressor we all definitely have, the one that already comes with Windows. in Explorer, popup menu, choose Send to Compressed (zipped).

I have incorporated engine information to suit various engine types into the kneeboard speaking and will now improve the throttle manager. Next will be accessible navigation, selection of navs from the assist page and this will set up the instruments for the desired navigation.

Problems can't be researched with little to no information about the problem encountered. Remember that any problems encountered must include enough information that I can use to recreate the problem. That means the plane the plan the airport the navdata and so on.

Not only that but the problem must also be checked with defaults.

Errors in the log can be pasted in here, files and folders must be zipped with Windows Send to Compressed.

Failure to provide enough information will delay the project and likely will not arrive at a solution until I can come across said problem myself.

Another profile corrupted actually today. It was working Sunday when I used it, if I recall. I saw an access violation but I think that was later in the day. Here is the zipped file of the profile that corrupted this time.

I don't mind hozing it, but yeah. Bleh, there goes the 45 flights I logged.. I did use preview 11 Sunday when doing another similar flight.

OK. Many thanks for the files. I fixed the problem. It can happen after saving a zero score flight.

Sarah, if you can remember if anything unusual or played out differently just before the problem started, anything you can think of might help as a clue. Otherwise it could be completely hidden and continued like normal till the scoreboard reloaded and crashed it.

It was not the zero score itself that caused the problem. Something stopped IF reading a file and at a certain point it continued rather than failed with an incorrect value type that was written to the scoreboard. I've fixed that and prevented it but I still don't know what it was that was different in that last flight to trip it up that way.

Nothing really, I just took off and landed like I normally do. Cruse at 19 thousand feet but the flight was short anyway. I can't launch the app as it will still want to crash, so do I just hose the that profile? This did happen with my other one as well and I had to recreate it, same error by the way. Then the app would kind of crash as the config message would keep looping and would not let me do much. I really don't remember anything different that hapepend, all flights as normal in a 747.

The one you have won't load the profile. If you can wait for the next update it will load the profile.

I have a problem that I'd like to report that has been present for several builds (I can't recall when it first appeared). I have the B737-800 (180 liveries) pack from Rikoooo, and due to the sheer number of liveries, Ideal Flight goes unresponsive for over ten to fifteen seconds when choosing a variation of this aircraft. It also goes unresponsive when choosing the aircraft itself from the model dropdown. I'm using NVDA 2019.3.1, Windows 10 64-bit. Ideal Flight and my Prepar3d directory are both stored on a solid-state drive. Thanks!
