If you use default FSX you get by far the best clouds compared to ASE or REX

Meant to say no better or worse, just that clouds in REX and ASE are much more varied, and higher resolution.

Toby's correct, there is a problem with the low lying stratus in FSX. Well done Toby!
Although I've not seen anything quite like Toby's problem, with a chopper I found places around fog that I could see certain textures flicker. I don't think this can be totally removed due to some combinations of textures, So I've incorporated a fix into IF that, more or less, defeats the problem. Question is, does it fix Toby's problem? We will have to wait and see...

I've got the stratus working properly now, and I've got the vsibility layers sorted out properly as well.
The whole flickering issue I think will prove cured. If it is cured; it all came down to a zero where a one should be. I knew it worked before, it's something that crept in a while back. We shall see...

Just doing some final preparations. In testing pure FSX no addons, freeflight, clear sky theme, there are certain buildings and textures that flicker. A castle at LEGA for example.
Version [rg] looks good.
