I will check it all out...

If we use auto-addons feature, what it should actually do is - it will disable every scenery package that contains an airport or many airports except for the package that contains our airport. If we are flying between airports in a scenery with many airports, all those airports will be available because it only disables scenery packages that we will not visit in the flight departure and arrival.

Yes, thanks again for finding it! :D

I believe I have fixed it but I want to test out some other configurations before uploading. Won't be long...

I have uploaded build 19. Thanks for the valuable feedback. Please allow this update to rebuild the scenery indexes.

Addon airport configuration does not work in 19. Click on it nothing happens.
A A Add-on airport unchecks my plane, UT live and other add-ons that need to be used.
But it works fine on the scenery. I will learn to make a xml folder for planes and other add-ons. I guess this can be done?

Thanks for the heads up! I have repaired that menu item in build 20. Sorry about that.

I was thinking I forgot something around there, it is supposed to be only working on the scenery addons. That will be sorted in build 20. Thanks again.

Regarding the building of XML files for addons, that will allow you to locate your addons in a certain folder, should be plenty of guides around the net, there's a section in the SDK that explains the features and also have a look at some XML files you already have in the Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons folder.

The configure addon scenery menu item not popping up the window was simply because I had it pointing to a test file for the tests and basically never got around to set it back to the real filename so the function was ignored since it found no file.

Regarding the unchecking of add-ons that should remain active; there was a typo in the code that could mean some add-on packages were set as disabled. That should work properly in all cases now.

However, I could not find a way to disable addons other than those containing airports, such as aircraft or AI traffic.

Since I have likely missed something or some type of configuration that affects the outcome, I wondered if you could send me a couple of text files from your IF index?

If so, could you first check that auto-scenery is disabled, and with all addons enabled redo the scenery and navs index build before going to explorer zipping up the files (send to zip) and attach to an email send to the contact address on the site or make available from drop box if you have it:

These two files mainly are required for me to check:
"C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Index\ApAddon.idx"
"C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Index\Scenery.idx"

and if it exists:
"C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Index\DAddon.idx"

That way I can have a look at how things are set up in your system in particular.

Thanks as always.

Steve
