Thanks for checking it out.

Please don't hesitate to let me know of any worries, problems or thoughts of any kind.

For example; I'm still checking through things here and noticed that the Start Other Programs window asks me to save changes when I select different profiles, even if I did not make a change. It doesn't make any difference to it working but it's better to only ask after making changes, that's already been fixed for the next update.

I found a couple of problems to do with P3D v5 starting up and then with subsequent flight loads, for example when Ideal Flight advances are used, the top ALT simulator menu can become unresponsive to mouse clicks but otherwise works Ok from using the ALT key and arrow keys to choose menu items. I have found a work-around for this issue.

I will upload Preview 02 with the work-around next week. Also, a few other improvements to do with the briefing and menus will also be incorporated into that build.

It's possible to get an index error when changing items in the Start Other Programs window, that will be sorted out for the next build.

Also, I have smoothed up the way Ideal Flight starts up when you also have other apps being started by IF.

I might now not be able to make that next build ready for the end of this week I hope to do that but it will certainly be soon.

...well I have completed the main things I wanted to get done but will need a day or two to finish testing and I found a couple more minor things to do for the next update.

The update will be ready next week so we can have it for the Easter holiday.

This update smooths over a few wrinkles in operation and circumvents a couple of P3D v5 problems to do with loading paused flights, traffic or no traffic, and the ALT menu can become unresponsive to mouse clicks under rare circumstances and as far as I can tell has not been found by other P3D beta testers.

So long as Ideal Flight can get the sim to work correctly with those problems and will continue to work normally after LM fix these few issues I am happy.

Thanks again for the support and feedback!

Thanks to Ron I found in certain situations where the progress bar window completes OK, but that could then get an access violation and the program would require closing from Task Manager.

Hi,
Yes, I copy-pasted that into a .PLN file and seems to load OK in P3D v5.
Thanks for the report.
Best regards
