Hi Mike,

You can try starting from the 'X' button, then run up the 707 and save aircraft settings from the menu, then generate a new flight.

 Hi Steve,
still same problem when i try to generate a new plan and start from if autopilot does not work

if i start from the x button then save settings and reload flight plan it seems fine, but having checked the briefing then there was no flight plan, it had not loaded.

Hi,

When you start from the X button there is no plan unless you load one. But you can save the default setup of the plane, then generate new flights from that in IF.

We are only starting the 707 from a saved flight file, so if the plane is OK, should work.

So you saved settings in X mode, went back to IF, regenerated the flight, started it from the Fly! button, still the AP does not work?

If not, I will get hold of the 707 later, it is maybe something you need to set 'off' in Cold & Dark page...

I'll get the same 707, is it the Captain edition?

It is being started from a .FLT file so it should work, except something may be needed to allow the AP to work, like to switch on panel power first.

I can have look at that later.

I found some aircraft have problems with flight plans even though specified correctly in the .FLT file, and do not load properly with the .FLT file.

Ideal Flight now handles this situation, coming in version [rf].
