Hi Steve..When the fsAerodata is updated in p3d 4 IF looks at the scenery files and uses that data? IF does not need to be updated with fsAerodata or Navigraph? Is that correct?

Hi there!

When you perform the IF index on the scenery, you should see in the messages above the activity graphic, something like 'indexing add-in data'. fsAerodata being the add-in data.

Might not take very long so the message won't be there too long. After that the fsAerodata is the priority navigation database that IF uses to make plans and make export files.
