...Wanted to get this 04 version up soon because the P3D v4 version doesn't do the startup behaviour correctly if the sim is already running. It was a simple fix since I had left it unselected while last minute testing. Use None when starting the sim with IF saved flights and once in the sim pull down the menu and load the save again to get all the instruments up -it's a quirk of P3D v4.

Just fixed an unexpected error in the absolute altitude of the route after inserting the altitude graphs. Routes are still reasonable, but working properly in the next preview. Working hard to stabilise the application after the upgrades. Thanks for your patience. :D

...A couple of unexpected niggles appeared in the xml reader due to fixing some other things, so there could be an unexpected result in scenery or planes. Just testing that out now. Also I've improved slightly the handling of the destination weather with the metar list mode of operation - note that only works with SimConnect style METARs.

...by the way. I'm aware the 'building flight...' messages scroll on the front page - my mistake in the build prep. Still have a few places I am working on...

In 06 there's a small mis-alignment possible in xml package order, even so, all should work ok. Repaired in 07.

Selecting an AIRAC data set always seems a painful exercise to me - since I choose and change navdata sets often, I'm never quite sure if the folder is the one I want before choosing a directory from the AIRAC folder picker (Startup page popup menu).

In the next Preview build 08, we now see if the folder contains a compatible AIRAC for Ideal Flight. That is: AIRAC Nav Data sets from Navigraph or NavDataPro compatible with AXE, PMDG, iFly and Level-D.

The text at the top of the folder picker now shows AIRAC info if one is present in the current folder selected (e.g. "Airbus X Extended, 1805").

Preview 08 uploaded - install over (Update) and choose to re-index when IF runs.

In this part of the update process I have added help when choosing AIRAC folders. If a compatible folder is pointed to with the folder picker, AIRAC details will appear at the top of the window after a short pause.

Also in 08 I have fixed a few minor problems introduced in the upgrades to clear text and an issue with private parking that could cause the map page to fail to appear.

Thanks for all the help and feedback! :D

Regards
Steve.
