Windows Creators Edition IF Re-register

Postby Steve Waite » Wed Jan 31, 2018 5:39 pm

Most of us will require re-registration of Ideal Flight after installing creators update to Windows 10. The changes I made to IF a few years ago to prevent the details being cleared by Windows 10 version updates has not been successful.

In the next version IF I attempt to stop that again (look out for the preview build out shortly). If we run out of registrations the Flight1 process will allocate another five registrations to us via email confirmation of the order details with the Flight1 site. Re-registering, although annoying, should be viewed as a necessary process to avoid software theft.

Apologies for the bump in the road. IF continues to be developed and improved as required. :D

...I'm preparing an update if installed before the latest windows update that will maintain the IF registration and re-registering IF will be avoided. Look in the new builds section, should be up by the weekend.

...in this case I have provided the links for non-members:

10/2/2018:

Latest updated IF versions:

Ideal Flight Professional P3D v4
Ideal Flight 10 Professional P3D 34
Ideal Flight 10 Special Edition
Ideal Flight 10 Original

Modified so that installing before updating Windows 10 will preserve the license registration. Otherwise the registration will have to be repeated.

Hi Steve,

The link seems to be broken...I'm getting a '404 Not Found' error.

Cheers
