Issue with FSLABS A320 on P3DV4

Postby Ptimat31 » Fri Nov 24, 2017 4:07 pm

Hello,

I just purchased Ideal Flight 10 Pro and I can't add the FSL A320 in the A/C list. I've tried to add the folder in the A/C folder list and update but with no lick so far. Could you help me ?

Thank you very much in advance,

Kind regards,
Mathieu

Hi,
As per P3D recommendation apparently, in my user folder, P3DV4 Add on. I did use FSL default path

Also, have you run P3D with the new plane first before then running IF Pro, since P3D may need to set things up first before IF Pro can read the changes. Same goes for scenery.

The 320 works fine, I've been using it for a while

I'm not suggesting there's a problem there, I'm simply stating you must run some stuff in P3D first before IF can pick it up.

After that, if IF Pro has not picked it up then add the aircraft group parent folder with the add aircraft menu item:

"C:\Users\ptima\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\FSLabs\SimObjects\Airplanes"

the folder name should then appear in the Settings.ini file:

C:\ProgramData\Ideal Flight Professional\Profiles\Settings.ini

[AircraftIncludeDirs]
..
..
Dir3=C:\Users\ptima\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\FSLabs\SimObjects\Airplanes

...Also make sure you have the latest version IF Pro installed.

...by the way, the aircraft are actually installed there? You have subfolders with aircraft.cfg in there?
