With IF Pro we are always starting at a particular location, your last successful destination, because we want to know what airports we can get to from where we currently are located with the currently selected plane with the currently set performance, that's one of the things it does.
You can move if you want to any new location it doesn't matter and loading a plan with new airports will need to start your profile at the departure in the new plan. I hope you have done the 5 minute walk through and checked out the help videos on the FAQ page.
There are two items to set up to export flight plans to the GTN with User waypoints like TOC, TOD, TDWN and so on. When we choose to make an IF Pro export item the program tries to find the relevant folder but might not and so we can point to that place with a folder picker if we need to. The first item is the plan export and the second item is the User waypoints database reset. We need to reset the user waypoints each time because we use the same named waypoints each flight irrespective of where we are
