LFAK Scenery comes with FVFR-Nord pas de calais scenery ...

As you will see, this scenery is very "poor" as it works with another scenery i can't provide. By th way, with the scenery included in the link, P3D kows what is LFAK ...

Yes, why not use the add-on.xml method, IF Pro will pick up all those specified correctly.

I put the airport folders with the scenery in:

C:\Addon Scenery

so that EGDA is in

LFAK is now loaded as an add-on, and it is well shown in add-on list.

IdealFlight still doesn't know LFAK...

Why don't you tell me how your airport is installed into P3D so I can tell you why IF Pro can't see it.

I installed your LFAK in the simplest method, I simply added it to the scenery list.

Notice it is a folder in a folder of the same name, even so IF Pro picks it up right away and asks me to re-index. I then tried the add-on.xml method, that worked too. So no problems there.

After the index I checked the html scenery report (round button top right of the flight gen page). The report shows the scenery installed. However it does not list LFAK as available in the file. So when I look at the file contents there are no runways - it appears to be just an overlay of some buildings. So there must be other scenery installed that has the underlying airport. Can you tell me more about this scenery

If the scenery records are incomplete IF Pro can't use it as an airport and won't list it. The airports listed in IF Pro are there because the record is properly filled out, a machine readable account of the airport, runway lengths and widths, parking places, and so on. However IF Pro attempts to fill in for missing information in the scenery files. For example, if IF Pro reads in an airport with runways lengths but not widths it attempts to guess the widths, some scenery is not fully completed and as such incompatible with the sim.
