I played around a bit today with P3D v4 and IF. IF read the airport and plane databases fine and so had no problems generating flights. It just could not start the simulator.

Yes, mainly it's the same as v3 but the move to 64bit means there's plenty of Windows stuff to do under the hood. Unfortunately IF10 won't slide in so easy as scenery and planes, but it's nearly there. If you still have v3 installed you can even just build flights exporting all the relevant files to the v4 docs folder and run the flight as a regular saved flight in v4.
