Hey Brent, I think I've got a way round it, I believe it is time related, back shortly.

..FSX is working fine now as well. The initial IF10 .FLT now has SimTime=1.0 in the SimScheduler section. If this is zero it may or may not work unless the plane is reset, that gets embroiled into the 'memory' and affects how the Hand Prop works in the next flight even if it's in the other sim. Will let you know as soon as have Preview 01 ready and you will need to reset the plane in the panel below the HP. Well I'm really pleased you found that Brent, Appreciated! :D

You can test it by editing the .FLT (in the Flight\New folder).

SimTime will be blank, I can set it blank, means zero, or I can set it to zero, or to some number. It's not the seconds running the sim, but rather the seconds from an event within the startup of the sim which could be 10 20 or more seconds before the sim actually starts. In other words it's not particularly useful to the T6, it's meaningless in the flight file when the flight is created from scratch so It got me baffled. If I leave it blank or set it to zero the T6 Hand Prop may not work. But if I set it >0 the HP works every time. So I set it to 1.0 in the program. I'll make an update available very shortly, but in the meantime you can edit the FLT file set SimTime=1.0, it will be blank.

Code: Select all
[SimScheduler]
SimSpeed=001.00
SimTime=1.0

The saved flights always work because they have SimTime=406.887387545 or some positive number like that.

Steve - you're a genius! :ugeek: That works perfectly...congrats for sussing it out and many thanks for your determination!

Ps. Sorry for the tardy response - I've been out playing in the hot weather.

Cheers,
Brent

No worries Brent, your feedback is what's important. I'll get you the update asap, just putting some other tweaks in and get it uploaded in a few days. Have a good weekend!
