...You need to not worry about the ideal_flight.PLN since that is married with the scenario flight setup, instead simply export another plan file but with the ICAOICAO name desired.

In the Export window (button on Flight Gen page), make an Export object by choosing the FSX .PLN file type in the drop down list at the top. Name it ICAOICAO.PLN in the File Name box. Have it export to your required folder with the Add Location button. If you already have a flight built, then you can use the Export test button lower left to see the result right away.

I hope that helps!

Yes, I would like for the FSX exports to show the two ICAO codes .PLN, For example MDPPTFFR.PLN and on the next flight the export show the new ICAO codes .PLN e.g.TFFRTAPA.PLN

Thanks Ralph

Yes, simply export a .PLN with "ICAOICAO.PLN" as the name shown in my post above.

Remember that this only need be set once and forget, the "ICAOICAO" keyword is replaced with the dept and dest codes when you make subsequent routes.

When we make a flight with IF10 it creates a set of files that exist together in a certain way as they refer to each other and the systems of the scenario start.

Each time we build or start an IF10 Pro flight these files, called the scenario set, are exported to the user\docs\p3d folder:

Ideal_Flight.fxml
Ideal_Flight.xml
Ideal_Flight.PLN
Ideal_Flight.htm
Ideal_Flight.FLT
Ideal_Flight.bmp
Ideal_Flight_Tower.FLT
Ideal_Flight_ATower.FLT

Let's say we have an addon that requires for example a plan file to look like this EDDFLFRZ.PLN, we simply make an IF10 export object with the ICAOICAO keyword. So now each time we build or start a flight we get the extra plan file added to the scenario set:

EDDFLFRZ.PLN

We don't make an actual scenario set with the ICAOICAO keyword because this can interfere with file references within the scenario files and the working of the sim.
