Hi, with FMC's you would need to save the state as well, since IF10 can only save the flight file.

OK Bryan. There's usually a save state of some kind in most FMCs. Usually how it goes is pause the flight, use the in-sim IF10 menu to save the flight, and also save the FMC state within the FMC. After restarting the saved flight with IF10, before unpausing, reload the FMC state. Certain data is retained automatically, more on the 737, 777, so long as the plane has not been used between saving and reloading.

That seems to work fine, thanks for that.

Only problem is VNAV does not come back on but that is a fault with PMDG. Solution is to re-enter cost index into FMC and re-engage VNAV.
