Not undertanding the payload

Postby jscharpf » Sat Apr 23, 2016 2:07 pm

Perhaps because I'm using the A2A Cessna, not sure, but I want to plan a flight with one pilot (195 lbs) and 50 lb of luggage.
When I go into the setup screen under flight parameters, payload definitions, I try to set these values here.
When the flight is generated it always says "pilot and cargo 27 lb".. I wish I was that small :)

Change to Lbs (Pounds) put in 170 + payload (170 is standard pilot weight in P3D).

...Some planes have to be loaded with their own app, in those cases I build the flight with the payload set in the briefing, start the flight paused, run the payload app comes with the plane, set the payload to that shown in the briefing, fly the route. Having said that I remember the A2A will load up with the payload set in the standard flight file so should be OK with P3D but I've not tried it.
