Flight Generation failure CZST-CYXT

Hi Steve

I ran into a problem trying to generate a flight between CZST (Stewart, BC) and CYXT (Terrace, BC) on the FTX Pacific Fjords scenery (FTX_NA_Blue_PFJ). I've tried the IF flight generator and also transferring an FSX generated flight plan (simple direct flight) with identical unsuccessful results.

The message pops up, "Failed to generate flight, please see logfile". I looked up the flight log (0_Flight.log) and it doesn't seem to be much help...

I tried to locate another logfile which would be more helpful but couldn't find one. I am using the latest beta that you recently published (10.012sj06).

I should also mention that I rebuilt the scenery index just in case...

Seems to be an anomaly in the navdata, maybe need a workaround. Thanks for letting me know.

There may be others like it not sure probably just a one off. Although IF10 is tripped up by it in the route builder, I imagine very few programs, if any at all, access that data, so may not ever come up and FSX just ignores problems like that.

If you try to see it in the world map, after a failed build, it will show position as lat0 lon0.

Can you try that again, I've been unable to recreate the problem since re-indexing (or I've done some change to a setting). I definitely had the same failure to make the plan initially. I'm going to install pre_05 and reindex...

Now fixed in pre_07 - thanks again Brent for your valued input! That was a rare error and hard to come across, presented a bit of a problem but turned out easy to fix in the end.
