FYI The checkbox in front of Ai count in the flight generator page hides your parked aircraft, or in other words when hidden, does not introduce your parked aircraft into the simulation.

Hey Steve..... I did re-install the plane. I don't like the whole tweak thing either. I have everything turned up. DX10 Preview off. Ultimate Traffic 2 starts right up for me. Other programs I'm running with FSX is FS Force, it changes the force feedback, I also use REX, Ultimate Terrain X, Ultimate Alaska, Ground Environment X, Track IR and a lot of different add on scernerys.

What I don't understand is that when I run fsx without IF, everything works fine. When I run it with IF, some of the planes textures aren't showing up and well you know about the Diamond problem. What makes it more bothersome is that it works for you no problem. So it has to be something I'm running.

I don't know if this means anything either, but last night I ran a flight with the Diamond, and as I was waiting to cross a runway a AI Diamond went by but didn't show any landing gear. Anyways, I'm going to keep trying, I'll be sure to let you know if it straightens out. Thanks again.

IF works OK with everything you mentioned, in fact there's nothing we found that causes any problems so far.
Have you tried turning off thermal & ridge effects?

They are in the same folder, you only get them after you have saved aircraft settings from the in-flight menu, then you will see them.

You could "open with" so IF was not in communication with FSX via simconnect, that would be the only difference other than the metars (weather - probably do nothing strange) and the thermal and ridge system.

Hi steve, I did try the build you suggested, with the same results.
I have now uninstalled Fsx and all the goodies. The problem now is the uninstall didn't go as clean as I would have liked. So needless to say, there has been lots of deletions and reg cleanings.
I spent the better part of yesterday trying to install fsx,i think I've officially incurred the wrath of Microsoft, I've seen every error code related to installing Fsx back on my computer . 1722, 1603, 1688, they are the ones I remembered. I've done all the better known fixes but the install still isn't working.
I am now to the point of seriously considering a drive format. Well thats where I'm at now,i promise when I get everything up and running (which may be awhile) I will let you know what happens. Thanks again.
